Description: This patient had previously undergone breast reconstruction with silicone implants and nipple reconstruction after bilateral mastectomies. Her nipples had flattened over time. She desired maximal natural appearance out of clothes.
Dr. Lu performed a bilateral nipple reconstruction using the patient’s own skin plus Alloderm, a human collagen product. Areolar tattooing was then performed.
The patient desired increased projection of the reconstructed nipples, therefore Radiesse, a calcium hydroxylapatite filler was used to plump the nipples. The patient is thrilled with her appearance.
